CpG ODNs are potent immune stimuli being developed for use as adjuvants in different species. In this study, using a cell-based activation assay, researchers developed a type of CpG-ODN containing a GACGTT or AACGTT motif in 12 phosphorothioate-modified deoxynucleotides with potent stimulatory activity for rabbit TLR9. The results of this study suggest that both the choice of CpG-motif and its length are important factors for CpG ODNs to effectively activate rabbit TLR9 mediated immune responses.
Different types of CpG ODNs have different structural characteristics and immune effects. They are generally divided into three types: Class A, Class B, and Class C. Synbio Technologies can provide these three types of CpG ODNs products, as well as synthesize the CpG sequences that you provide.
