Animal CRISPR Libraries
Animal genetic screening is helpful to study the molecular mechanisms related to their growth, reproduction, disease, and other key traits. In addition, genetic screening also improves the prevention and treatment strategies against viral infection. The CRISPR gene screening system provides a large-scale and multi-dimensional screening tool for molecular breeding.
Synbio Technologies harnesses the genetic blueprints of sheep, rabbit, pig, dog, and cattle to build a series CRISPR knockout libraries. These libraries are single- or dual-vector systems with Puro selectable markers that can be packaged with lentiviruses for cell transfection and screening. Our animal CRISPR knockout libraries fill the gap of CRISPR libraries for species other than human and mouse on the market, expanding the application of CRISPR in molecular breeding, regenerative medicine, and animal research.

FAQs
Yes,Synbio Technologies’s sgRNA design are not limited to any species
Animal genome-wide knockout libraries can be used for various applications, including:
Breeding for Disease Resistance: These libraries allow for screening host factors linked to viral infections, such as PDCoV and ASFV, to identify new targets for developing antiviral genetically modified animals.
Disease Research: They help in understanding the mechanisms of viral infections by identifying host factors involved, leading to the discovery of effective preventive and control measures.
It is recommended to store animal genome-wide libraries at -20℃
